Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, and really comfortable, making for a quiet and clean environment. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no furniture in the room. The service was top-notch, with the manager being very accommodating and clear in his briefings. The location was handy to Viaduct Harbour, despite the unexpected parking costs. The dining experience, though delicious, had some hidden conditions in the fine print. Overall, a great experience with a few hiccups along the way.
The hotel offers stunning views of the harbor from beautifully decorated rooms with great amenities, but our room wasn't ready on arrival. The service was friendly and helpful, though there was initial uncertainty about Marsden guests. The location is excellent, away from CBD noise but close to waterfront restaurants and with easy access to the bus station. Dining in the Sofitel cafe was delicious but comes at an additional cost.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms provided a luxurious feel with utmost privacy, large and spacious with a wonderful outlook and a fantastic shower. However, the readiness of the room on check-in was disappointing.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were lovely, with a great bed and awesome TV, but there were issues with the check-in time and the availability of bath towels. The service had its moments of excellence, but there was an unprofessional incident that left a sour taste. The location was fantastic, although parking ended up being a costly and troublesome affair. Dining options were limited, and not prominently highlighted. However, the concept of Marsden/Sofitel was interesting and appealing.
The hotel offers a luxurious feel with utmost privacy in a perfect location, close to waterfront restaurants and free from the CBD noise. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, maintaining a neat and tidy atmosphere until the evening. The service is friendly, professional, and accommodating, going the extra mile like allowing early check-in for luggage storage. The dining experience is excellent, offering Indonesian dishes, but prices are not transparent at first. The facilities are top-notch, including dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and a shuttle service.
The hotel offers a premium standard of accommodation with spacious and extremely comfortable beds. The service, while friendly and welcoming, had some issues with responsiveness. The location, although in the central city by the harbour, presented challenges with parking costs. Dining options were good but had hidden restrictions. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
